Who can use Humraah

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be a Muslim seeking a Muslim spouse
• You must be an Indian citizen or an NRI with a valid Indian Aadhaar card
• You must have an active Indian WhatsApp number
• You may only have one active Humraah account at a time
• If you register on behalf of a family member (Family Managed path), you confirm you have their knowledge and consent

Registration and payment

Registration requires a one-time payment of ₹499. This fee is non-refundable once your profile has been verified and activated. There are no monthly subscriptions, no renewal fees, and no premium tiers. Your registration remains active until you deactivate your account.

After your Nikah, you may choose to offer a voluntary hadiah (gift of gratitude). This is entirely voluntary — no amount is suggested, no invoice is sent, and we will never ask. The hadiah sustains Humraah for future families.

Profile accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information on your profile. Misrepresentation — including false education credentials, income, marital history, health information, or photographs — is grounds for immediate permanent account termination without refund.

Your identity is verified against the UIDAI Aadhaar database. Attempting to use another person’s Aadhaar for verification is a criminal offence under Indian law in addition to being grounds for termination.

Prohibited conduct

• Sharing contact information (phone numbers, social media, email) before both families choose PROCEED at the end of a supervised chat
• Creating fake, incomplete, or misleading profiles
• Using the platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial search
• Harassment, inappropriate language, or pressure during any communication on the platform
• Registering multiple accounts
• Sharing screenshots of introduction cards or chat conversations outside the platform
• Attempting to circumvent the supervised chat system

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination at Humraah’s sole discretion.

The supervised chat

The 5-day supervised chat is subject to an automatic content filter that blocks phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, and external URLs. This is a platform rule — not a technical limitation. Deliberately attempting to share contact information during the chat is a violation of these terms.

The chat closes automatically at midnight on Day 5. There are no extensions.

Humraah’s role and limitations

Humraah is an introduction service. We facilitate initial contact between families — we do not verify the accuracy of every piece of information beyond Aadhaar identity, and we do not guarantee compatibility, marriage outcomes, or the conduct of any member outside the platform.

Once contact details are exchanged after PROCEED, Humraah’s role ends. The continuation of any relationship is entirely between the families involved.

Account termination

You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings. Humraah reserves the right to terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice and without refund of the registration fee.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via WhatsApp. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
