This is a translation for your convenience. If it differs from the English version, the English version applies.
You can permanently delete your Humraah account and the personal information linked to it at any time. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need the app installed to make the request.
This page explains the three ways to do it, exactly what is removed, and the small amount of information we are required to keep.
Nothing to install. Works in any browser, on a phone or a computer, and takes effect immediately.
Sign in with your registered WhatsApp number. We send a one-time code to that number.
Open the Settings tab on your profile.
Under Irreversible Actions, choose Delete My Account and confirm.
You will be asked to confirm twice, because the deletion cannot be undone.
The same thing, if you have Humraah installed. It also takes effect immediately.
Open Humraah and sign in.
Go to Profile, then Settings.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.
If you cannot sign in at all — you have lost access to your registered WhatsApp number, for example — write to us from the email address or WhatsApp number registered on your account.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything. This protects you from someone else deleting your profile. Verification is usually a confirmation message to your registered WhatsApp number.
Requests are completed within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
Deletion is permanent. Your profile cannot be restored afterwards, and it will no longer appear to any other member.
One narrow category survives deletion. It is kept only to meet a legal obligation, and it is not used to contact you or to match you with anyone.

This is the record of the registration fee itself — the amount, the date and the payment reference. It is stored separately from active profiles, is not visible to members, is not used for matchmaking, and is never used to send you messages of any kind. Everything else listed above is removed.
